Service and Diagnosis, BEKA EP-1 Progressive Grease System  

Overview

This Komptech Crambo 6000 has been hard at work since 2009, processing millions of tonnes of compost with almost no downtime. Factory fitted with a BEKA EP-1 system, it’s a real-world example of how reliable automatic greasing can be, even after 16 years.   

The Challenge

After more than a decade of uninterrupted service, the customer noticed the system wasn’t operating like it used to. Unsure if it was still delivering grease properly, they called us in to inspect the system which hadn’t been touched since install.

The Solution

Our technician quickly diagnosed the issue. One of the pump elements was no longer producing full pressure. We replaced the worn element with a new one, and within minutes the system was fully operational again, no overhaul, no stress.

The Result

The BEKA EP-1 is back in action, providing reliable, hands-free lubrication across the plant. It’s a testament to the quality and durability of Groeneveld-BEKA systems and exactly why we stand behind this brand!
